Clare’s recent Everest conqueror, John Burke, took to low-lying land and a much milder challenge as he and his wife, the actor Aoibhín Garrihy, led almost 2,000 runners and walkers in the Bank of Ireland 5K charity Night Run at Shannon Airport.
