New West Belfast Sinn Féin MLA, Órlaithí Flynn, is congratulated at the Belfast count center in the Titanic Exhibition Centre on Friday. The election turned into something of a triumph for Flynn’s party with a final total of MLAs just one shy of the total won by the DUP. The election means that there is no longer an outright unionist majority at Stormont for the first time in history.
