John Devoy statue unveiled in his native Kildare

The long awaited statue of John Devoy was recently unveiled in Naas, County Kildare. Pictured (l-r) after the unveiling were Garrett Doyle, President of the United Irish Counties Association New York, and originally from Kill, Co. Kildare; Peter Carey, Kildare County Executive; Kildare Mayor Brendan Weld; U.S. Ambassador to Ireland, Kevin F.
