"Aileen brings a wealth of knowledge with her from previous non-profit coordinating roles and she has hit the ground running. She has already begun work on many of the initiatives started by her predecessor Katie Fox, who has resigned her role and moved to Australia. We are grateful to Katie for making the transition a very smooth one," Dennehy added.

"I am thrilled to be joining an organization such as CIIC that does such important and relevant work," stated Leonard Dibra.

"My goal is to use my skill set to promote collaboration and communication between the CIIC and its member organizations to benefit the immigrant populations we all serve."

The Coalition of Irish Immigration Centers is a national umbrella group for all of the Irish immigration Centers in the U.S. The CIIC was established in 1996 to promote the welfare of Irish immigrants in the U.S. at a national level.

The coalition provides support and assistance to the various centers in their work through advocacy, education and the exchange of information.
