The Ancient Order of Hibernians and Brehon Law Society recently co-hosted a Christmas appeal fundraiser at Harbour Lights in the South Street Seaport, Manhattan. The gathering was a lively affair with music provided by AOH members Sean Griffin and Stephen Gara. The speakers included AOH National Vice President Brendan Moore and General Jim Cullen of the Brehon Law Society. The highlight of the evening was a moving speech by 2011 AOH Sean MacBride Award winner, Clara Reilly of Relatives for Justice, who was presented with a $2000 check from the AOH New York State Board as part of the fundraiser proceeds.
