The Irish Small Business 50 will honor the entrepreneurs and business leaders who form the very backbone of the American economy; the doers and risk-takers who have ensured that where businesses are being built and wealth created, there you will find the Irish.
Our nominees will be companies or individuals who have displayed entrepreneurial excellence and traditional Irish American can-do to make their enterprises stand-outs in their field.
We want to recognize start-ups and mom-and-pop operations as well as those fast-growing gazelle companies driving the economy forward. They may be relative newcomers or established icons, retail or wholesale, global or local, web or bricks-and-mortar. What they will all share in common, though, is a belief that the customer comes first and a pride in their Irish heritage.
