DENIS J RING is the son of Sheila (Fleming) Ring of Ballydesmond, Cork and Denis Ring of Woodford, Galway. He and his sister Deirdre were raised in Whitestone, Queens, New York.

A product of Catholic education, he went to St Luke elementary school and St Francis Prep. HS.

He graduated from Iona College with a History/Economics degree and earned a scholarship to Notre Dame Law School.

Denis began his legal career as prosecutor under Brooklyn District Attorney Charles J. Hynes, where he spent over nine years, primarily in the Rackets Division as a Deputy Bureau Chief in the Organized Crime Unit.

He also worked as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of Florida and the Eastern District of New York and received the US Department of Justice Director’s Award.

Dennis is now the principal in the Law Office of Dennis J. Ring, PC, in Queens, New York. His office handles personal injury and criminal defense litigation, as well as real estate and estate planning.

Active in his community and parish, he is a member of a number of civic organizations and an officer in the Knights of Columbus.
