Eddie Hearn’s “Fight Camp” got underway in his back garden last weekend with the behind-closed-doors series of events marking boxing’s return. Hearn’s home in Brentwood, Essex has been converted into a modern boxing complex with a canopy to ward off any inclement weather on fight nights. There are fights scheduled for Aug. 7 and 14 and Katie Taylor will fight in a rematch against Delfine Persoon on Aug. 22. Promoter Hearn believes Katie Taylor wants to silence her doubters at Fight Camp against Delfine Persoon. Speaking about Taylor’s re-match with Persoon, Hearn said: ‘‘I think ever since we walked back to the changing rooms, Katie Taylor has thought, I want to put that thought out of people’s minds. It was a close fight, I believe I won, but I will do it again and I will prove to you that I am the best.’’
