Dublin Marathon cancelled

This year’s Dublin City Marathon which was due to held on Oct. 25, has been cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The photo shows participants running in the Phoenix Park during last year's race on Oct. 27. The 2020 race, which had been booked out for months, would have been the 41st running of the event. This year the Dublin Marathon entries were part-lottery and over 35,000 applications were received but the capacity is currently set at 25,000. Entries will carry over to 2021, but entrants can get a refund if required.
