Lankum in New York

Dublin band Lankum were in the U.S. for a three-day trip as guests of Rough Trade Records to mark the release of their new record, "The Livelong Day," and their song and video "The Wild Rover." Lankum, which have won several BBC folk awards, are getting more attention on this side of the Atlantic. The Echo's Daniel Neely in a column last December described Lankum as “truly one of my favorite current acts." The band — from left, Ian Lynch, Cormac Mac Diarmada, Darragh Lynch and Radie Peat — were pictured before a performance at Berlin on New York's Lower East Side last Thursday night.
