Entertainers rally for McConnell family Sunday

The Screaming Orphans are among the array of Irish stars performing on Sunday for the McConnell family.

An array of top class Irish entertainers are rallying this coming Sunday, October 27, in support of the McConnell family.

Owen McConnell, a father of four and a native of Donegal, is battling cancer and the community will be rallying to help defray medical expenses as the musicians, more than forty solo singers and groups, set out to perform continuous music in eleven locations in and around Yonkers.

The performances will run from noon until 10 p.m. Included the in the full day of events is a Healing Mass at Rory Dolan’s on McLean Avenue at 11 a.m. and also a raffle at the same venue.

There will be a Ceili at the Kerry Hall from 1 to 5 p.m. with the Pride of Moyvane Band.
