Festival launched

Charles Hale, his son Christopher, his Artists Without Walls co-founder Niamh Hyland and Laura Neese pictured at last night’s launch of Origin’s 1st Irish Theatre Festival at Scandinavia House in Manhattan. Hale will narrate AWoW’s program “Crossing Boroughs” on Sunday, Jan. 28, (3 p.m. start), at the Museum of the City of New York, 1220 Fifth Ave. (at 103rd Street) in Manhattan.

Singer Hyland, who is the musical director, and dancer Neese will be among the performers. Actor Jack O’Connell, pianist David Raleigh and guitarist Shu Nakamura are also listed in the cast for the event, which is part of this year’s 1st Irish Festival. For tickets, which are $15, go here.
