The Poor Mouth Theatre presents “Trumpelstiltskin – A Holiday Pantomime” for four performances this week – Thursday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

All shows take place at An Beal Bocht Café , 445 West 238th St., Riverdale, Bronx.  Tickets are available at the café or through BrownPaperTickets.com.

“This is a pantomime in the Irish/English sense, not a silent performance,” the Poor Mouth Theatre Company said in a statement. “Bring the kids, but we guarantee adults will enjoy this, too.”

The company added that there is no political content, “other than maybe having a little fun at The Donald’s look and speech patterns.”

The show is written and directed by Scott Kennedy, with music direction by Kathryn Donnelly and Suzanne Hockstein (who in addition is costumes and set designer) and features also Corrine Delaney, Aoife Williamson, Aaron Souza, Michelle Hendee and Caitlin Seward. Audio effects and sound design are by Don Creedon. Running time: 1 hour.
