Munster’s Foley laid to rest

The coffin of Munster rugby head coach Anthony Foley leaving St. Flannan’s Church, Killaloe, Co. Clare, this morning. Foley died suddenly in his Paris hotel last weekend before his team was due to play a European Champions Cup game against Racing 92. An autopsy found that Foley "had a heart rhythm disorder that caused an acute edema of the lungs.” The player affectionately known as “Axel” scored 39 tries for Munster and led the province to its first European title in 2006. He also won 62 caps for Ireland.
