Third annual Sepsis Forum Sept. 12

Senator Charles Schumer is pictured speaking in 2014 at the inaugural Forum on Sepsis dedicated to the memory of 12-year-old Rory Staunton. Schumer is expected to speak at the upcoming forum, now in its third year. The forum will take place in New York City this coming Monday, September 12 (a report in the print edition of the Echo carried the right date, but incorrectly stated “Sunday”). The theme of this year's Forum is “New York: New Ideas on Sepsis.” It will showcase New York's multifaceted approach to addressing the issue of sepsis. In addition, the CDC will present on its recently launched sepsis campaign.
