The 2016 New York Mary from Dungloe is Sharon Brady and she is pictured here with her delighted parents, Helen and Frank. This year marks the 49th anniversary of the New York Mary selection and it was held on Saturday April 16 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy in Astoria, Queens.
