Suffolk Hibernians to salute Clarke legacy

Tom Clarke

By Irish Echo Staff

The Suffolk County, NY Ancient Order of Hibernians will gather this coming Sunday, April 3, to commemorate the dedication, in 1987, of the Tom Clarke and Kathleen Daly Clarke Memorial.

The memorial is in Manorville where the 1916 Proclamation signatory lived for a time during his American years.

Given the year that this is, the gathering, which starts at 9 a.m. with a wreath laying, will also feature a reading of the Proclamation.
