The Irish Business Organization Golf Classic, this year set for May 11 at Pelham Bay and Split Rock Golf Course, will be in aid of the Aisling Irish Community Center in Yonkers, the Emerald Isle Immigration Center and the New York Irish Center in New York City.
All three, according to an IBO statement, "do outstanding work in their respective communities and deserve our continued support."
Meanwhile, IBO president, Sheila Lynott Hourican, was one of New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn's honorees at the speaker's annual St. Patrick's Day event held on Tuesday of this week. More details at www.ibonewyork.org.
