A few ears ago the stories were of humble cottages going for a fortune. Now the humble Irish cottage is going for a song.
A cottage in County Leitrim is to go under the hammer next month with a reserve price of just €7,500.
The cottage is situated near Gallough's Lough, two kilometers outside the south Leitrim village of Carrigallen. It features a reception room, two bedrooms, kitchen, dining room and bathroom, the Irish Independent reported.
