Members of Irish Northern Aid in Hartford, Connecticut, will gather this Saturday, Nov. 5, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the 1981 hunger strikes.
The gathering, at 2 p.m., will be at the Bobby Sands Memorial Circle. A social will follow at the nearby Maple Café while later in the evening there will be a dinner at the Carmen Anthony restaurant.
Organizers are requesting a $100 donation with proceeds going to the Bobby Sands Circle Trust Fund. More details from Tom McBride at
