North leaders Peter Robinson and Martin McGuinness are in the U.S. this week on a five day mission aimed at securing more American investment for Northern Ireland.

The first and deputy first minister are starting their visit in Los Angeles and during the week will be meeting with top executives of companies working in the entertainment, financial and technology sectors.

While in LA, the two, who would be considered a successful double act in political terms, will be meeting with chief executives from five of Hollywood's major film studios.

Northern Ireland has been an increasingly popular location for movie companies in recent years.

On Friday, the two will be in New York where, among other engagements, they will preside at the official opening of the U.s. headquarters of Newry, County Down-based IT company, First Derivatives.

With over 600 employees worldwide, First Derivatives is currently one of only three publicly quoted companies in Northern Ireland.
