Louis would probably be the first to admit that the pop game is 10 percent talent, 10 percent luck and 80 percent image. So it’s easy to understand the strop he threw recently when he caught a glimpse of his latest cash cow, Girls Aloud. The veteran manager, who hadn’t seen the girls for a few weeks, was horrified to see that they’ve put on some weight. He ordered them to start a strict diet and exercise regimen.
“Louis hadn’t seen the girls for ages,” a snitch told the London Sun.
“The first thing he said when he did see them was that they were looking bit meaty — a couple of them in particular.”
Well, putting aside the fact that Louis is no oil painting himself, the girls felt he had a point. They’re watching their calories and working out with a personal trainer. And pondering the meaning of their recent chart hit, “Life Got Cold.”
